Today there will be a Solar eclipse in Capricorn.

This eclipse affects personal aspects relating to career, achievement, goals, ambition, responsibilty and authority. New beginnings are likely to occur reflecting these themes.

Saturn rules Capricorn and is asking us to be practical, work towards long range goals,... plan carefully, be motivated and set down solid foundations. There will always be restrictions with a Capricorn emphasis, but having this forced upon us allows us to focus on our direction and modify things that need to be changed.

You may not notice new beginnings around presently because you may not be ‘looking’ for them; but watch out because by the end of the week there may be some surprises because of an aspect made with Uranus - encouraging change. Hopefully for most this will feel like a natural progression rather than a feeling of something being ‘taken away or lost’.

Solar eclipses occurred at approximately the same degree as this on January 16, 1972; and January 15, 1991. Try to think back to these timeframes and consider what was going on in your life; that may help you to understand any repeated issues connected with the current eclipse.
