My message for today: Sometimes we need to re energise ourselves by taking risks. Its good to free ourselves up by leaving people or situations behind that do not help our progress anymore. There is no point holding onto something that we have established and think of as permanent in our lives if there is no potential for growth left. Go back to your initial aims, have your goals changed over time? Have you lost sight of what you were trying to achieve because of things being hard work? If you have to leave someone or something behind what gifts can you take with you? Choose positive thoughts to go away with, even if you feel that the only positive is the lessons that you have learnt. That is valuable and is a gift in itself. xx

Are your values and principles different to the people that you have around you? Be honest with yourself- are you denying your own truth to fit in with others? If so its time for you to start to be confident about creating the right reality for YOU. You don't need to walk away from the people who think differently but maybe you can shield yourself from their negativity and try to manifest people who have the same desires to come forward in your life. Focus on attracting people on your wavelength.

The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity revolves around the mind. Through Gemini we process our ‘lower mind’ and through Sagittarius we process the "higher mind". Gemini uses common sense, intellect and reason while Sagittarius persuades us to think in an extensive, open minded and expansive way. Sagittarius needs to explore outwards whilst Gemini is quite comfortable staying at home and allowing all the information to come to them. With an eclipse we are encouraged to find the balance. A full moon Lunar eclipse insists that purge any energy that has been building inside of us and in this case it all relates to interaction, perspective and our approach to taking risk and exploring new horizons.

What we find out about ourselves may be profound and emotional and we should become aware of what is missing although whatever we become aware of isn’t really new. Although this can be difficult it can push us forward into making positive changes.

This eclipse is part of a series of eclipses that fall along the Gemini/Sagittarius axis.

This Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon square Mars and when Uranus turns direct from being retrograde and is stationary in Pisces. Uranus gives us our Awakenings. It provides us with positive transformation regardless of the disruption and trouble that may also arrive along with it. Pisces provides us with the intuition from the high mind and allows the flow of compassion and love to manifest in the real world. We have to be mindful that we shouldn’t become too reliant on any forms of escapism at this time try to live in the present moment. It’s so easy to become lost over the next few months.

In December 1965, December 1973, and December 1992, a Lunar Eclipse fell in Gemini at a similar degree as this December 2011 eclipse. It might be helpful to think back to issues in your life that were in effect at those times (in the weeks and even months surrounding these dates) in order to get an idea of how this 2011 Lunar Eclipse might affect you.

My message for today: Happiness is always within your grasp if you reach out for it. Communicate what you want out of life and take action to get it, don't sit around waiting for it to come to you. When things are hard work don't get distracted away from your goal, keep focused. Transcend any limitations by discarding anything that you don't really need. Be truthful and realistic with yourself, use the skills and talents that you know work and take you forwards in life. xx

Use up some that excess physical energy. You may not have the tolerance level to cope with irritations when things go wrong and you may take this out on others if you have a lot of nervous energy. If you voice your concerns you might get some unfriendly reactions back today. It would be better to do something physical to expell some of this energy that needs using up. (Sun square Mars)

The energies today can produce intense, jealous feelings within relationships. You may feel obsessed with someone else but this doesn’t mean a relationship could work, there are complicated subconscious drives at work that could make someone else seem more enchanting.

Try not to use any underhanded manipulative ways (such as guilt trips) against a current partner now, as it will only break down any bond that you have. (Venus conjunct Pluto) x

We are building up to the point where we will have a new mindfulness relating to our planet. At the moment climatologists and environmental scientists are all sending out mixed messages about what will happen to mother earth in the future. Things seem to be going round in circles and like me you may be losing patience with the powers that be to make a positive change. All I know is that killing the planet and the life that inhabits it is a CRIME. However, I believe there will be a new beginning where people can come together to change human consciousness and inject some moral and ethical codes, and not just in a piecemeal way like is being done by governments around the world. In the meantime, meditate on this - say affirmations in the mind if you feel silly saying them out loud, try to create positive healing energy and imagine sending it out to all life on the planet. Remember actions follow thought. xx

Your imagination may be heightened today and you will be more aware of colour and beauty. Its a good day to visit places where you can really feel this and have an appreciation of it. You are likely to ignore the more negative aspects of relationships because you may feel more romantic and idealistic. Sometimes at this time people can be provided with a ‘karmic’ or ‘soul mate’ connection with someone else. It’s as if the person may be destined to be a part of your life in some way. This doesn’t happen often in other transits so be aware of your relationships and friendships as you may have something profound to give or receive. (Venus sextile Neptune) Also we have Mercury retrograde - During this usually three-week timeframe, everything connected with communication can be disrupted. Misunderstandings tend to occur as the usual aspects of writing, learning, and verbalisation can become disrupted. This is because during the ‘thinking’ time spontaneous expression is blocked in some way. HOWEVER, for some people, this retrograde actually has the opposite effect. New ideas, new speaking or writing abilities are often revealed in people especially in those who have Retrograde Mercury in their natal chart. For people who struggle to communicate sometimes this energy can be very helpful. Its like a very large intake of breath so that we can assimilate new mental concepts and visions.

Today there may be a heightened awareness of your own path and purpose. Any reformist, idealistic and humanitarian tendencies can find success through communication and sharing with others, and this can be important to your sense of well being.
